Denise Koehler, AuD, CCC-A is a native Texan, born in Austin. She graduated from Keller High School and left Texas to attend the University of Alabama, where she earned her BA in Communicative Disorders with University Honors distinction. Denise returned to her home state to complete her Doctor of Audiology at the University of North Texas.
Through her doctoral training at the University of North Texas, Denise gained experience providing audiological services in local pediatric, medical, private practice and educational settings. Denise served United States Military Veterans at the Southern Arizona VA Health Care System in Tucson. She provided audiological testing, hearing aid fittings, vestibular testing and treatment, and participated in the Polytrauma team to coordinate care of Veterans with polytrauma and traumatic brain injury. She additionally worked at the Arizona School for the Deaf and Blind to provide audiological testing and classroom services to children. Now, she is settled in the North Texas area and looks forward to developing long-lasting relationships with her patients at Otolaryngology Specialists of North Texas. Denise is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
Outside of the office, Denise can never have enough time with her husband, her son, and their dog, Mack. They enjoy traveling and visiting with their large extended family.
