Alexander R. Hansen, MD

Dr. Hansen is an ENT physician who serves both adult and pediatric patients. He is board-certified in Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery. He grew up outside of Atlanta, Georgia. He graduated summa cum laude with honors from the University of Georgia with a B.S. in Biology and Psychology and a minor in Spanish. He then earned his M.D. at UT Southwestern in Dallas where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. 

After graduation, Dr. Hansen completed his Otolaryngology internship and residency at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. His training involved rotations at Parkland Hospital, Children’s Medical Center in Dallas, and the Dallas VA Hospital. Dr. Hansen has published multiple journal articles and presented at national meetings. He is an active member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery and the Texas Medical Association. 

Dr. Hansen is interested in all aspects of general Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery, including pediatric ENT surgery, endoscopic sinus surgery, salivary gland surgery (including endoscopic approache), thyroid and parotid tumors, head and neck cancer surgery, functional nasal surgery/septoplasty, ear surgery (including endoscopic approaches), laryngeal surgery, and sleep apnea surgery (including the Inspire implant). 

In his spare time, Dr. Hansen enjoys attending concerts, collecting vinyl records, and cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs football team.
