Michael E. Kubala, MD
Dr. Kubala sees patients at both the Plano and Dallas offices. Dr. Kubala performs surgeries at Children’s Medical Center Legacy, Cooks Pediatric Surgery Center Prosper, Texas Health Center for Diagnostics and Surgery, Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas, Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Plano, and Texas Institute for Surgery. Dr. Kubala is Board Certified in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery.
Michael E. Kubala, MD was born in Tulsa, OK and spent the majority of his childhood growing up in Katy, TX, graduating from Taylor High School in 2006. He then attended the University of Oklahoma, where he graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. in chemical engineering and a minor in chemistry in 2010. He returned to the state of Texas to obtain his medical degree at the University of Texas School of Medicine at San Antonio in 2014. After receiving his medical degree, he completed his internship and residency in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in 2019. He received comprehensive training in the medical and surgical treatments of otolaryngology-head and neck surgery. His areas of interest include pediatric ENT, endocrine (thyroid and parathyroid) surgery, functional endoscopic sinus surgery, head and neck oncology, airway surgery, ear surgery, and sleep apnea surgery. During his residency, he authored a textbook chapter on neck dissections for thyroid cancer and published several abstracts, as well as presented at numerous national and international meetings on various topics in Otolaryngology. Dr. Kubala is excited to return once again to Texas and begin his practice at Otolaryngology Specialists of North Texas.
Dr. Kubala enjoys spending his free time with his lovely wife Courtney and their two energetic sons, John and Marc.
